Finn McCool’s Wheeling location officially opened on March 6, 2026. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, the new Irish pub welcomed patrons in for a festive-filled day and evening. Throughout the morning, Finn McCool’s was featured on “Jump Start with Jackie,” a CBS 2 Chicago broadcast news segment that captures news and events across Chicagoland. The segment included clips of Irish dancing, live music, and curated Irish-inspired beverages.
Finn McCool’s is a part of Ala Carte Entertainment, which includes Moretti’s restaurants. The original Finn McCool’s location opened in Schaumburg 20 years ago. Ala Carte Entertainment leadership chose to expand into Wheeling and opened Moretti’s in April of 2025. When the location next to Moretti’s became available, Ala Carte Entertainment seized the opportunity and significantly renovated the location and created a premier pub, restaurant, and event space. This concept was a welcomed addition to The Wheeling Town Center, a mixed-use transit-oriented development next to the Metra station and ONE luxury residences.
Finn McCool’s offers food and beverage specials throughout the week, including a Happy Hour highlighting select appetizers and beverages Monday through Friday from 3pm – 6pm. In addition to the bar and dining room, Finn McCool’s also offers two private rooms that can be reserved for a number of functions.
