With the new year, comes new dining options for those who live, work, and enjoy Wheeling. Wheeling's Restaurant Row along Milwaukee Avenue will soon welcome a new eatery at 550 S. Milwaukee Avenue in the space formerly occupied by Tuscany. The restaurant, Ahara, will be a "destination restaurant," according to owner Arun Sharma, who operates Indian Garden Chicago in the Streeterville neighborhood in downtown Chicago and Mantra by Indian Garden in Schiller Park. The restaurant is set to offer upscale Indian dining with a lounge, private event space and outdoor dining.
Ala Carte Entertainment will soon open Finn McCool's Irish Sports Pub and Banquets at 373 W. Dundee Road in Wheeling Town Center. The original Finn McCool's is in Schaumburg; this will be their second location and one that includes a banquet space. The 6600-square-foot building is currently being redeveloped for the business concept and expects to open its doors in Spring of 2026. It is located walking distance from over 2,000 residents who reside in three luxury rental communities - ONE Residences, Uptown 500, and Northgate Crossing.
Wheeling will also welcome Red Bottle Restaurant, which will open at 401 E. Dundee Road in Riverside Plaza. The owner, Dmitry Khlebnikov, who also operates Red Bottle in Elmwood Park, plans to bring a full-service restaurant with entertainment that will be open daily for lunch and dinner.
