Chicago Executive Airport

Chicago Executive Airport has grown into a vital economic engine for Wheeling and the surrounding area. Purchased by George Priester in 1953 and later acquired by Wheeling and Prospect Heights, the airport now serves as a key hub for private airplane owners, flight schools, businesses, and major corporations. With recent multi-million-dollar investments, including a new US Customs Office, it continues to expand its capacity to support both general and business aviation.
